New Wooden Pallets

All new pallets are manufactured from scratch at our PEC Packaging site in Liverpool (Just a short distance from Bootle) using timber and nail-gun production lines. This allows us to control build quality and produce pallets to suit specific requirements.

New pallets are made to order, with fast delivery available depending on specification and volume.

Like New, Used Pallets Available at PEC Packaging

Used pallets are sorted and processed separately and offer a faster turnaround than new pallets, as no manufacturing is required.

• Around 30% of collected pallets are suitable for reuse
• Reusable pallets are reconditioned and checked before resale
• Unusable pallets are recycled responsibly

If stock is available, delivery within 24 hours is possible. Used pallets are commonly used for warehouse storage, internal or local movement, and one-way shipments.

Bespoke and Specialist Pallets

In addition to standard pallets, we also manufacture bespoke and specialist pallets, including custom-built timber pallets,
Pallets designed for heavy or awkward loads, and also A-frame pallets for specialist items such as glass. All of our bespoke pallets are built on the production line using timber and made specifically for the load they are intended to carry.

Where required, all pallet types can be supplied with:

• UK Forestry Commission certification
• ISPM 15 certification for export

This ensures compliance when shipping timber products overseas.

Delivery and Collection

PEC Packaging delivers both new and used pallets across Bootle and nearby areas. Delivery is arranged based on access and order size:

• Flatbed vehicles for restricted or poor-access sites
• 18-tonne lorries for larger deliveries

Our local pallet delivery service covers Bootle and the surrounding areas around Liverpool. The service is typically free, with longer-distance deliveries incurring only a small fee. Our site provides the space, equipment and infrastructure needed for both high-volume pallet production and specialist bespoke work. Customers can visit us, arrange collections or drop off items for refurbishment whenever required.
